Vivo has introduced the latest additions to its V series in India, the Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40. These new smartphones offer significant upgrades over the previous Vivo V30 series. Both models come with impressive 50-megapixel front cameras. The Vivo V40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, while the Vivo V40 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The rear cameras are branded by Zeiss, and both phones feature 5,500mAh batteries with 80W fast charging capabilities.
What’s New in the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro?
The Vivo V40 series boasts enhanced specifications. Both the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making them exceptionally bright.
Under the hood, the Vivo V40 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Vivo V40 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both models offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo V40 has a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The Vivo V40 Pro adds a third camera to its rear setup, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 2x telephoto sensor.
